Review on Mishimoto MMAI-MIA-16P Performance Air Intake for Mazda MX-5 Miata 2016-2018 (Silver): Enhance Your Miata's Performance! by Therealwesley Shaw

The airbox bracket hole was difficult to align with the mounting hole on the left of the coolant reservoir. Also, the air tube that runs from the air intake to the air chamber was almost impossible to install (played with it for over an hour). We ended up using dish soap (mixed water in a spray bottle) which really helped attach the hose. This setup uses a tuning tube removal kit and a removed heat shield airbox cover. Mishimoto didn't include a plug for the hole in the firewall due to the removal of the audio hose, but luckily I had something to plug. In general, there are no noticeable changes in performance, but it sounds good. The instructional video lacked sound tube instructions, but it was pretty basic.
