Got this for reading codes and data from 2008 Nissan Altima 3.5. The device has successfully connected to the car and via Bluetooth to the Innova app on the iPhone 12. On initial connection, the app offered to update the device's firmware, showed the status of downloading new firmware, but never got past 0% install/update. . The company is very helpful. They helped troubleshoot over the phone, offered to update the firmware on other iOS devices (iPhone, iPad) around the house via the app, and finally recommended updating the firmware on a desktop computer. Unfortunately, my old computer does not meet the manufacturer's minimum requirements for a computer. The company is excellent, they offered to send a shipping box for returning the goods, and then they send a new one with updated firmware. They couldn't have been more helpful and made the customer support process easier. I would enjoy this product if connected. However, since I couldn't use the device for timely troubleshooting on my main mode of transport, I bought a new car instead. My suggestion to everyone considering this product: if your firmware is outdated and you cannot update the device on your own, either by connecting the device to an application or to a computer, feel free to contact the company - them gonna do it right 2 stars because, why would anyone receive a product that is outdated and obsolete by the time it was launched? If I had the chance I wouldn't order this again; I would order something else. The fact that Revain allows returns and I can return it "unwrapped" from Kohl by dropping it is worth one star. The company's excellent customer support also deserves a star.
