These "look" like decent brackets. When you first install them they feel nice and tight and hold up well with no leaks. But when they get hot, they loosen and lose their grip! Leaks have occurred wherever these clamps have been used. This is clearly *not* spring steel or very poor quality spring steel. I even tried to use the smallest size I could still squeeze through the hose and it still leaked when hot. They were used on heater hoses and fuel lines. I suppose they might be ok for a vacuum hose where the vacuum keeps them!
