I like these for general cleaning and dusting. I wouldn't say they are good for drying dishes as they are only 12" x 12" so it's too small for me to dry dishes. I like to wet one and wring it out really well, use it to dust and then dry, love that combination. They are good for washing dishes, wiping down counters and other general cleaning jobs. I can't say they are 10x more absorbent than the exact same microfiber towel now that I know what is considered equivalent. everything, and when I'm looking for a waffle weave I'm actually looking for that roughness for some extra cleaning and cleaning. But they work well and for the price they're a good buy for an all-purpose cleaning cloth that won't damage delicate surfaces (like my TV console).
