This monitor is clearly meant to add an extra screen to your laptop more than anything else. Although it would of course work fine on a computer. The bottom line is that you must have a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort to connect your display to it, otherwise you'll have to default to HDMI and a power outlet (or a USB 3.0+ port for power delivery). In any case, one cable is much better than two. Be careful! We tested this in both scenarios (desktop and laptop) and luckily both connected via USB-C. Of course, we were a bit biased about using it on a laptop as it simply suited it best. When it comes to using a PC, our monitors dwarf its size, which is larger than the average user. Aside from that, having one laptop felt like you had two laptops side by side, only with a lot more room to play. USB-C shows a crystal clear picture and it's nice to have one cable that delivers everything. It gets even better when Thunderbolt 4 (which natively supports USB 3 and 4) works with all serial solutions and hubs to keep your setup clean. It's not 4K like the half-screens we're used to here, but it still looks fantastic. In one of the pictures you can see her next to the laptop. The laptop has a 4K screen, but this one is 1080p. They can hardly be distinguished from each other live. Although this requires some fiddling. Out of the box the picture is a bit weak and dull, so crank up the brightness a bit and play around with a few other things in the menu and you'll look fine. I would say when it comes to connectivity, options and picture this screen represents really good value for money. ** If you found our review helpful, please rate it below so we know.
