NOT that heavy in my opinion BUT works well
I changed my rating after using it for an outdoor family celebration in July with 30 people including kids. The cutlery is the right size, attractive, inexpensive and not a single piece broke. The food that was served required meat to be cut and well finished. The spoons went into ice cream, which the kids ate without breaking. Maybe only disposable cutlery gets that kind of "starch"? I would buy again.
