The device has a FEMALE OBDII connector, MALE is REQUIRED.

OBDII does not suit my needs. This is not mentioned or shown in the pictures or in the description. I needed a standard OBDII connector as my OBDII port is also female. In other words, you CANNOT connect it to the vehicle's OBDII port.
