Review on Anker Powerline II Lightning Cable (6Ft) by Michael Welborn

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The Anker cable is completely out of service, as is the support team. No response after more than 7 days of waiting.

I bought this cable about 8 months ago, since then it has fallen apart and is completely unusable. I contacted Anker to inquire about the 'warranty' and to keep a spare cable. I contacted them first with my claim AND I have attached a picture of the cable with the serial number visible in the picture. Without even reading my initial correspondence, they sent me a reply asking for a photo of the cable and a serial number. I sent them the same information again and then escalated the case on April 2nd, 2018. It is almost 6am on April 10th. , 2018 and I have not heard from Anker about their intent to honor my cable replacement warranty claim. It has become clear that Anker does not intend to timely replace any of its warranted products. Usually I just forget and move on, but this cable is specifically marketed as "The Last Cable You'll Ever Need". buy!". Through my efforts to replace this cable under warranty, I found that their claims are definitely false. I expected this cable to last 8+ months given the warranty claims and advertising. I am particularly disappointed with the overall and overall lack of customer service I'm sure if I were to contact them for anything other than a warranty replacement they would respond to me in less than 7+ days I read a review from another person, who stated this to finally do it When he received his warranty replacement, he was forced to leave a negative one-star review noting his difficulties with Anker products over the years and it is shocking that they I'd rather lose a longtime customer than honor the only warranty claim I've made to them.
