Type of review

I bought two of these because of the great reviews and wanted a strong cable that would last a long time. Unfortunately, when I first unplugged the cable from my iPhone, a piece of metal was left in my phone's charging port and is now stuck there. Called support today and got a message saying they are very busy and recommended contacting support via email. I emailed support with a photo of the problem and never got a response. Called the number again during estimated business hours and was told

Hassle-free lifetime warranty has expired.

Unfortunately, the worry-free guarantee for this product has expired. I've had to return this product twice within a year so I'm thrilled with the lifetime warranty. This is what the multi-stage return process looked like. - Went to the Anker website to fill out a warranty exchange form, which requires a Revain order. number and a prompt to upload a picture, which I did. The next day I received an email (usually a letter) asking for a picture or a serial number. I sent the same photo again. - A

Purchased Last Year

I bought this item last year but was just about to leave a review. This is probably better since it's the only charger I use for my phone and other Apple products I have. So it's easy to say that I've benefited from it quite a bit since then. This cable still works like new. he is very strong and tough. Each end of the cable connects securely to the phone and port as it should. There are no problems with freezing and connection. This comes from a girl who is 100% to blame for lying in bed with…

I bought this cable about 8 months ago, since then it has fallen apart and is completely unusable. I contacted Anker to inquire about the 'warranty' and to keep a spare cable. I contacted them first with my claim AND I have attached a picture of the cable with the serial number visible in the picture. Without even reading my initial correspondence, they sent me a reply asking for a photo of the cable and a serial number. I sent them the same information again and then escalated the case on…

My Super Strength Destroys Lightning Cables

Sometimes I feel like I spent more on Lightning cables than my iPhone 6S+. I remember how the original OEM cable lasted a few weeks. Original Apple cables are always too short. My battery never holds a charge, so yes, I use my phone while it's charging. Apple designed the phone with a cable underneath. This means that "kink" will always be the design flaw that iPhone users struggle with the most. Battery cases aren't fun, so I need a durable Lightning cable. After my last syncwire cable…
