A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

I bought this lens recently instead of a kitogo (18-55). Available 70-200L + portrait 50 1.4. Now the complete set is almost)))
One of the reasons for the purchase is those. the characteristics are still (2.8 const is still better than 3.5 - 5.6), and the second one is even shameful to work with (18-55) (customers sometimes have better lenses). Although I know that this is not what characterizes the photographer.

Pros

Excellent stabilizer + constant aperture. Although, I tried to photograph an ordinary brick wall during the day at 17 and at 55 (with the same hole 2.8). Exposure fotik set different. So it's not particularly permanent. The colors are a little softer than on the standard kit 18-55.

Cons

The lens is certainly good for everyone, but it is not so good that it would cost so much. There is some money - it's worth buying. Bought and do not think. For a girl, I think it will be a little heavy.
