I was using this kit when one of my exhaust manifold studs broke flush with the head of my 2013 Ram 1500. what suits me best. Drilling took a while, especially with the small 1/8 bits, but I managed. Be sure to buy extra bits and work slowly so you don't overheat them. This kit worked pretty well overall. I didn't mess around with the extractor, instead opting to pierce through and cut the threads entirely. Bigger drill bits cut much faster so I don't think the extractor is worth the risk. The truck is closed, the exhaust is no longer flowing.
