Problems: 1. It is supposed to work on 3V but doesn't work on the 3.3 bus. I need to work at 5V and don't have anything else at 3.3 or 5V so current shouldn't be an issue. 2 - Sending seems fine but receiving is not working. Run the Texas Instruments transceiver and it worked great with the program. I could do more testing but it looks like it's only good for transmission. Maybe someone else can find the answer, I just won't waste my time on this device anymore, I bought 8 so it's not a big investment.
