Description of NOYITO TJA1051 CAN Transceiver Consumption

The TJA1051 is a high-speed CAN transceiver that is the interface between the CAN controller and the physical bus, providing differential transmission and reception functions for the CAN controller. The transceiver is designed for high speed CAN applications with transmission rates up to 1 Mbit/s. The TJA1051 is an upgraded version of the high-speed CAN transceiver TJA1050, which improves electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) performance. Features: Transceivers are not visible on the bus when the transceiver is powered down or in low-power modes; the I/O ports of the TJA1051T/3 and TJA1051TK/3 can be interfaced directly to a 3V to 5V microcontroller interface. These features make the TJA1051 the best choice for high-speed CAN network nodes. The TJA1051 does not support standby modes that can wake up the bus.

Efficient Network Transceiver - Highly Recommend

My analysis of this Network Transceiver showed that it is an efficient and reliable networking product for computers. The transmission and reception of data is fast and accurate. i WAS highly impressed with its low power consumption which is great for energy efficient systems. The only downside is that it may not be compatible with all systems, so it`s important to check before purchasing. Overall, I highly recommend this Network Transceiver for anyone seeking an efficient and reliable solution

Pros
  • Low power consumption
Cons
  • Not compatible with all controllers

Problems with the STM32 Nucleo board and this part

Problems: 1. It is supposed to work on 3V but doesn't work on the 3.3 bus. I need to work at 5V and don't have anything else at 3.3 or 5V so current shouldn't be an issue. 2 - Sending seems fine but receiving is not working. Run the Texas Instruments transceiver and it worked great with the program. I could do more testing but it looks like it's only good for transmission. Maybe someone else can find the answer, I just won't waste my time on this device anymore, I bought 8 so it's not a big…

Pros
  • network transceiver
Cons
  • sad packaging
