Fits my 2008 Trailblazer perfectly. The only problem I had was that the key went into the "lock" position so it could be pulled out. After much trouble I searched the internet for a video of "Key not coming out of ignition" and found the problem. When you unplug the battery cable to change the lock, the small solenoid on the bottom of the switch moves down, holding the key in place. Look under the shift mechanism and you will see a small silver tube about 1/4 inch in diameter and 1/2 inch long. I tried turning and removing the key with the battery disconnected. Once you reconnect the battery it should return to its place and the key will move to the locked position and can be removed. If it doesn't reset itself, press it with your finger to reset it. If it later becomes a problem and wears out, you can use the eraser end of a pencil to manually push it through the hole in the lower plastic shroud without removing the cover on the steering column. I hope this saves you the trouble of taking your key out of the locked position so you can pull the key out.
