Terrible Ignition Cylinder for Automotive Use

As a result of using this product, I found that it was poorly made and caused my car to have trouble starting. The cost savings of purchasing this product is not worth the headache and expense of replacing it soon after installation. As a pro, it was easy to install, but that's the only positive thing I can say about it. I do not recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable ignition cylinder.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • Does not include a key

Ignition does not lock optimally in lock cylinder

The lock and product key did not work, the key was cut incorrectly, had to drill out the lock and buy a new ignition. And they didn't give any refund.

Pros
  • Ignition parts
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Fits perfectly. in lock cylinder

Fits my 2008 Trailblazer perfectly. The only problem I had was that the key went into the "lock" position so it could be pulled out. After much trouble I searched the internet for a video of "Key not coming out of ignition" and found the problem. When you unplug the battery cable to change the lock, the small solenoid on the bottom of the switch moves down, holding the key in place. Look under the shift mechanism and you will see a small silver tube about 1/4 inch in diameter and 1/2 inch long.

Pros
  • lock cylinder
Cons
  • some little things
