The second order is also a waste of time and money.
I had to go back and check the parts to make sure I ordered the wrong part. No, I ordered the correct part to replace the driver's side mirror glass on a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. It does not fit. It's the same size as the full mirror glass assembly previously ordered from Revain, which also doesn't fit. My side mirrors have LED turn signals, but the replacement assembly doesn't work and the electrical connections don't match. Now I need to see if the mirror can be cut to fit the assembly. Credit refunds are not available as we live outside of the US.
- > If the old glass has been removed or detached from the plastic backing plate or is missing parts, do not use the supplied adhesive as this backing plate is rough and ridged and does not provide enough bonding surface for the double-sided adhesive. In this case, it is recommended to use a permanent adhesive such as silicone to bond the glass to the corrugated plastic substrate.
