When unfolded straight, the backing paper separates from the fiber, looks like a crumpled carpet, the protrusions do not lay flat on the product. The glue will dry if not used immediately. I unwrapped it to smooth it out and remove frizz and installed it two weeks later. This resulted in blistering in dry areas, especially two days after installation. Tip - leave rolled up until ready to use.
