Overall an efficient charging hub - but some glitches with data ports

I really want to love this hub. Has multiple ports. There are fast charge ports and "regular" USB ports, giving you a varied set for different use cases. However, I find it can be finicky at best. It really depends on the use case. If you use fast charging ports, everything works fine. Other ports do not work. It has more to do with the data port than anything that sometimes doesn't work, as well as connecting a peripheral directly to my computer. An example is my microphone, which works via USB. I can connect it directly to my computer and have no problems. When I use a hub, it works most of the time, but there are times when it's not recognized. If you think of it as a power hub, it's pretty good. I wish there was a better way to place the hub on my desk. The power cord is definitely longer than others I've seen, but I want more with the data cord. It's too thick and therefore difficult to maneuver around the table because it's not as flexible as one would like. Maybe I could find another that connects to a hub effectively, but I'd rather have more flexibility in what's included. Another interesting aspect is the ability to control the performance of individual ports. I'm not sure I care as much as I should. The reason for this is that if I plug something in and forget to turn it on, I waste my time charging something. I'd rather have everything on all the time, or a built-in mechanism that automatically turns on a port when a device is plugged in. Overall, this was an above average product for me. If you understand and agree with what I said above I would recommend this as a good product.
