Doesn't work, but looks great!
Used on a 1984 Sea Ray with Mercruiser 228. Casting, pulley and overall finish is really good! It looks and feels like a solid generator! However, when it comes to ship generators, looks don't really matter. Mine only lasted 2 1/2 rides. Yes, I checked that all my connections are clean before installation to avoid damage. Sometimes I like to see if cheap is good enough, in this case it's not. So I guess I'll go for OEM. I gave two stars for the work in two trips.
