The product does what it promises but in the end I didn't like it and took it off.
because the door didn't close. I tried cutting it off and it worked. Although the black was very matte and didn't approach black paint, I ultimately decided it wasn't for me. Since I had already cut it open and destroyed the product, I just threw it away. However, it was very heavy and very easy to install. So if you're not worried about the color or you know you have weather protection and you buy a cheaper version with no upgrades then this is probably a great product for you.
