My pond was leaking (there was almost no water left, the fish were choking on oxygen). I added water from the garden faucet (the city gets more chlorine than usual in the summer to prevent algae growth) and poured in dechlorination powder. All my fish survived and were not stressed! I expected several babies to die and was very pleased with the outcome.
