Review on Channellock 34212 Drive Metric Socket by David Sharma

As mentioned they are made in Taiwan but actually make some of the best tools including Tekton. It's way, way better than anything made in China. They are modern in design and it looks like Channelock (an American company) probably designed them and just outsourced them to a good factory in Taiwan. Their ratchet is precise, they're well polished and fitted, and the body is great. There's a lot of heft to this set, and at $38 I can't imagine you could do better. I'd like a Made in USA set, but without a craftsman, nothing costs less than $100. Channelock only makes wrenches in the US, but at least they have a guarantee on it. The steel on them is hard and works well in high torque applications. The ratchet releases quickly with a button, which is annoying, but just like the German made sets. Overall I highly recommend them.
