I was a bit hesitant to order these as some of the reviews suggested the products just didn't work or were unreliable. While I found the clasps a bit awkward (mainly because they're quite small) and the lack of instructions a very minor downside, it's pretty easy to figure out just by looking at the product photos on the store page. I inserted the glowing ribbon into the connector with the ribbon intact for easier insertion and applied a little more pressure to the pins. Once I have them in place and secured, I score (very lightly) the backing of the tape with a knife and peel the backing off the lightstrip so it sticks to my surface. The connections work great and don't seem unreliable. No flickering, no dimming, just a great right angle plug.
