Review on Creuset Silicone Handle Sleeve Cerise by Kristen Jain

I use this handle with Le Creuset, Staub, Griswold and Lodge cast iron pans. The nubs on the inside of the grip sleeve offer a secure grip on cast iron, regardless of the brand, and ensure that the grip stays cool. The case itself is thick and durable - after an hour in the oven (NOT recommended by mistake) the color changed from blue to brownish blue, but it's still usable. I think that's impressive. I've talked back and forth about the price of this item ($20 at cookware stores, $16 at Revain), but after my first purchase I know they cost a lot more than what I paid for. Much, much better than Lodge's silicone sleeve which is very loose and flimsy even on their own products OR any of the flammable fabric handles.
