No more laughing at the grill coming running outside

We laugh at my husband for using cast iron pans on the grill out on the deck and yelling "Out of my way!" because of the soft neoprene handles, that I bought from an expensive kitchen store let the heat through. It's really not funny that his hands were hot, but there are screams. :-) Since it's winter he didn't use it on the grill but I used it on the LeCruset pan we have and it was great. It's very heavy and thick. It also matches my cast iron handles.

These are the best. There is no second place.

These are the only good pencil cases I have ever used. I'm usually very happy to ditch the big names to save some money. I'm even happy to make some changes if needed, but none of the regular or even branded Lodge cases have stayed as cool as this one. The difference lies in the wall thickness and the use of bars. My first set lasted about 6 years before they started splitting at the open end. I bought new suitcases from other brands, but gave them up immediately and used Le Creuset suitcases…

Works very well! best in dinnerware accessories

I was so happy to find this in my mum's favorite color for a future Christmas present. I have the blue version for my own 9" Le Creuset pan and it works great. I would consider it (or something similar) almost a necessity for any cast iron pan. Apparently you can eventually forget the handle and end up with unprotected hands .Also, sometimes you just need to move the pan quickly without looking for potholders! It saves you from getting burned. When the pan is very hot you won't be able to hold…

Cons
  • may I add something

I use this handle with Le Creuset, Staub, Griswold and Lodge cast iron pans. The nubs on the inside of the grip sleeve offer a secure grip on cast iron, regardless of the brand, and ensure that the grip stays cool. The case itself is thick and durable - after an hour in the oven (NOT recommended by mistake) the color changed from blue to brownish blue, but it's still usable. I think that's impressive. I've talked back and forth about the price of this item ($20 at cookware stores, $16 at…

What is this thing for?

I don't understand what's going on here. This item is made by the company that made my frying pan and was marketed specifically for the Le Creuset 12 inch frying pan, although it will work with other frying pans. But when I placed it on the handle of this pan, it didn't fit snugly, curling around the handle and not providing a secure grip, even though that was one of the two purposes of its existence. I then continued the experiment by heating the pan on the gas stove to what I would call a…
