I had a problem with a hollow interior door where the doorstop was screwed into the door itself. Unfortunately, when screwing it in, it was not in the wooden frame of the door, but in the hollow part. In the end it broke, bad. I tried using screw-in hollow core door anchors from one of the big department stores but it didn't work. I was afraid to patch the door somehow, but I decided to try these anchors. It was the PERFECT decision. They went in easily, stretched and held on. I was able to screw in the doorstop and it's stronger than ever. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to permanently attach something to a hollow core door. The rest I think to install hangars for mops and brooms in front of the pantry door.
