I don't know what to say about the Deck Screws report. It's screws. They're a lot cheaper here than at Lowe's or Home Depot, so get them here. You'll also need a star driver (included) so you don't have to take them off, and they're easy to take off too if you need to fix/maintain what you're building. This is a reminder that if you don't use them and instead use nails or other fasteners, you're making it REALLY harder for the next person who needs to fix your crappy work. Don't be an idiot, do it right and build things to last. But use quality gear and think of the next guy who doesn't want to spend two days hammering nails out of the eaves of the house (and certainly not bending the nails so they're almost impossible to get out).
