I used a Samsung AC adapter to charge my Garmin GPS, it worked for a while. Then my GPS wouldn't charge, had to be charged from my computer's USB port. Yes, you can charge your GPS using your computer's USB port, even if your GPS shows a pop-up saying "This cable will not charge your GPS", it will charge very slowly. Back to that Garmin charger I bought. After getting it I tried charging my GPS. Low and here! My GPS is now fully charged in just 3-4 hours with this Garmin AC charger. I took a close look to see what the difference is between the cell phone power adapter and this Garmin power adapter. . I don't know if more than 0.76Ah should matter, but it does.
