This is definitely a "heavy" citrus press. It weighs just over 15#. The interior of the press is made of stainless steel and is dishwasher safe. The rest is cast iron. When you need to squeeze a lot of oranges. . . then I prefer an electric rotary juicer. You can get it for half price (or less) for home use. Of course, the commercial options are higher. But if you like the manual process and don't have a lot of abs, then this one will work just fine. This press is made in China. There are several companies that offer the exact same press, so look for the best price before you buy.
