Designed specifically for Surface Pro models earlier than 2019 (USBC model), this hub allows you to add multiple additional ports and Adapters add a custom fit. The device connects and aligns perfectly with the side USBA and Mini DisplayPort ports, splitting them into three USBA ports, one HDMI port and an SD/microSD card reader. As a traveling consultant it is often difficult to have a USB port and I have to carry around a USB hub. While Mini DisplayPort is becoming more common, the most common connector you'll find in a conference room is still HDMI. This new hub has allowed me to condense at least three different dongles and adapters into one slim device designed specifically for my Surface Pro.
