I went to the dealer to buy Stock Guards and was shocked when they said $215. the price is crazy, that's how much a new lantern costs! Still, I decided I would check it out. Firstly they look like they are matte in the picture but they are actually glossy. The rubber washers they're talking about aren't rubber, they're plastic, which isn't a big deal, but the attention to detail never hurt anyone. Another deceptive feature of the slipcovers is that they only have a half loop, meaning the crossbars sit flat against the light and as a result have some sharp edges, which is undoubtedly a money-saving tactic. Overall they still look good and they have about $170 left in my wallet. If I could find a pair of Jeeps for $50 more I'd probably buy them instead.
