Two words describe our experience with this purchase. LOVE IT! We saw an identical item at a local makeover center a few months ago and didn't purchase it because the kitchen wasn't wired for it at the time. After installing the appropriate junction box we proceeded to purchase and found that it now had to be special ordered at double the price we had originally seen it for. After checking other stores online we found it at a better price but had to wait almost a month to get it. So of course we checked out Revain, found it at a great price and right on Prime. "With one click" he was on his way. When it first arrived I was nervous to see that it was made in China. I had concerns about the quality. However, when I opened the box I was immediately struck by how durable it is and how well made it is. A moderate amount of assembly is required and (unfortunately) there were no instructions in the box. .As it turned out, however, I didn't need them. It was very easy to put together and in fact I literally plugged it in, fully assembled it and left two of my wife's favorite Calphalon pans hanging on it for 30 minutes after taking it out of the box! A limitation. Convenient wiring in the ceiling light, you want someone to do this for you. Because you need to strip the wires and adjust the length of the wire to the height you want. To do this, you need to cut the wires and adjust the length of the chains. Otherwise, anyone with at least minimal experience wiring lighting fixtures will be able to pull it off in no time. It looks amazing over our island and completely transforms our cooking area. As I said at the beginning of this review, we love it so much!
