Will not work with rear window style on newer Subaru Outbacks. Due to the position of the suction cups you cannot move the roll high enough on the window as the spoiler/window bar will prevent you from opening/closing the clips. If you then move the roller further down the window to be able to open/close the clamps, the kayak cannot get over the overhang/spoiler. I went back and ended up with a Malone channel loader which has suction cups and clips in front of the roller so works great with my car model.
