Used to replace an old lock that was on our broken garage door. We don't need a lock on this door as we are the only ones with access to it from our gated compound which is heavily guarded by two police dogs! If you have access to someone other than YOU, I would suggest buying it with the privacy option for the same price. Installs directly into existing holes on the old handle and works like a charm! Aesthetically, it adds a little more "FUNNY" to our outside decor and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like our last one! Hopefully it will survive the harsh Pennsylvania weather, but upgrade if it doesn't! Installed a very NON-HAND GIRL in minutes!
