It seems likely that the water that was there during the storm was the source of the intestinal infection that affected fifty percent of our workforce. It appears that the officials started purchasing bottled water for the cooler at some point, but have since stopped doing so because of the problem. Since this location had a steel sink with a pedestal, the entire staff pooled their resources to purchase and install this filter. It is obvious that purchasing a jug would be the simpler option; however, given that there are eight of us, one and a half or two liters would be insufficient. Today, we have no qualms about drinking unfiltered water.
