Perfectly round 2.25" diameter hole in one side of a concrete block in less than a minute. The thickness is about 1.25 inches. If you get a solid middle, five minutes. I haven't gone through the solid filling yet, but I'm sure everything will be fine. The center piece came loose on first use (first hole) but after I re-tightened it did over a dozen more with no problems. . And most of the holes I made were with the biggest drill bit. It cuts great, very accurate and round, it doesn't try to walk even when you start moving on uneven ground. And I hit this thing with an 8 amp Bosch hammer drill, so it's a fire test. I'll say one thing: you'd better be prepared with the right tools and some serious grumbling when attempting to remove that cutting edge you've hammered in place. Block the shredder, insert a screw or pick into the hole on the side of the cutter, and then tap firmly to break it open.
