This is fantastic. Doesn't change the taste of the water at all. It doesn't even need to be cleaned, just rinse and store. (I would still keep it dry for long-term storage, but for the summer I just keep water in it.) A refill adapter is a must. You can replace the nozzle with a refill adapter, which allows you to refill from a tap or disposable water bottle without having to remove the packaging from your back. Unfortunately, no regular bite valve is included in the scope of delivery. The supplied thing looks more like a sports bottle. You must purchase the bite valve separately (this is the "Helix QMT Valve"). But it's nice to have all three and switch between them when needed. The package itself has long thin pockets on both sides for small items, but there isn't much room. It also has a pocket on top to store the straps when not in use. The backpack also has small straps that conveniently attach to the Molle vest. If you have a molle system this is a must have.
