Review on πŸ›‘οΈ Enhanced Safety: 4 Point Harness with 2 Inch Padding (Ez Buckle Technology) (Black (Pair)) by Greg Baker

Showroom price

I've used 4.3 seat belts for the last few years. I need a new set in a new car so because of the price I decided to try these 4.2 seat belts. In general, for such a price you can use. Both my wife and I love the 2 inch belts after 250 miles. I had an issue with one of the chest strap buckles breaking before the first ride. Customer service was second to none and quickly sent two replacement units. .Update: I ended up liking the 4.2 suspension type. So I went ahead and ordered from PRP. Ace is 1.75 inches instead of 2 inches as listed and as PRP. The PRP shoulder pads are slightly narrower but thicker. And the weak point of the ACE is the chest strap. PRP uses the KKK buckle, which is much heavier and better constructed. If you have an accident, the buckle should break if you apply too much force to it. The strap on the Ace is sewn on and the PRP is threaded, making it easy to swap out if needed. I have to deduct a star because of the chest strap buckles as I broke two. This time I think the reason is that he closed the door. I've ridden 8500 miles on a PRP 4.3 kit and never had a problem. But the buckle on 3 inch bands is 2-3 times larger and made of high quality plastic. I ordered OEM buckles to see if I can fix them myself. If not, go back to PRP when they return the stock 4.3 x 2.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
