Review on Secure Your Cards With MaxGear'S RFID Blocking Genuine Leather Wallet by Joshua Martinez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best I have had. easier to use, compact, and seems more durable.

Okay- I have only been using it a few days, however this is probably the best one I have had of this type. Previously I have had different variations of the "alumi-wallet" as well as other versions of this type- (leather- leatheresque material with a zipper-) including the "as seen on TV " brand. With the aluminum wallets the clasp eventually wears out and it won't stay closed , and the hard case can be a bulky and annoying, despite protective.I have never had any problem with the zipper type closures- and this zipper feels really smooth as if it will not bind or snag. The other positive is the accordion style of holder as opposed to the plastic flip holders that are in some of the others which are always a pain to get the card back into quickly (or out of) , or to find the empty spot. They would have a tendency to get folded and creased making it even harder. Now-the aluminum wallets I have had did have accordion style holders- but they were crappy accordions that eventually ripped out or tore as they were a plastic that was adhered into the wallet. This accordion is sturdy- it has what I will probably say are plastic stiffeners, encased by a fabric that is sewn into the wallet (it is a liner type fabric much like what is used to line a conventional wallet). I don't see a durability issue with these. It also is thicker and keeps the cards from pressing hard against the ones adjacent, causing damage.I also like the size.It is thicker than The others I have had but the "footprint" is smaller. I think this thing will suit me for a while and last it too.

Pros
  • Protects sensitive information from hackers and scammers
Cons
  • The wallet may not be ideal for people who frequently need to carry gift cards
