Too thick or rip too thin.
There is thinner material on the market. While this material can be fine for repairing glass, it's too thick for both of my types of windshield damage. Pressing on the back of the glass still didn't let this product penetrate. The glass was cool to the touch and applied at night with no stray UV sources. Leave for the night. And hardened after about 8 hours. misapplied.
