Ziz makes opening wine as easy as opening an expensive restaurant, plus the pressure is generated by pumps rather than a CO2 cylinder. Despite their claim that it cannot be used on plastic corks, I have used it on synthetic cork which turned out to be hard plastic. Removing the cork wasn't difficult; It may have a tiny air hole because unlike the cork, the plastic didn't fill up when I took the needle out, but it seems to be working fine. Using Ziz made cutting the foil much easier, after which it took about 10 seconds to open the wine bottle and didn't require much effort. This is much easier than using a corkscrew or "sommelier's friend" and leaves the cork in better shape than using a corkscrew. Definitely worth the low price!
