I have waited a very long time for this version to be released, and I have not upgraded from iOS 8 since Apple has a tendency to deliver "shovel phones." This practice has both frustrated and mystified me. It appeared that getting a smartphone with ideal proportions required nothing more than removing the bottom frame and shortening the top one, as was the case with the iPhone 12 mini. This was the case because Touch ID was not implemented. The rounded edges of previous models did not allow the phones to stand, and even when shooting without a case, they constantly threatened to slip out of your hands. Another advantage was that finally, the phone could be placed on the bottom edge to take a selfie from a greater distance or lean against a window for a better signal. This was a huge improvement over the previous models, which did not allow the phones to stand. The screen became brighter, and the colors were more saturated; nonetheless, in general, I was pleased with LCD displays. In comparison to the 8th generation and even the X generation, the camera has, of course, undergone significant improvement. The contrast between images shot with the X and the 12 mini from the same angle is clear to see when comparing the results of Night mode. The battery capacity is a source of frustration for everyone, but when compared with 8, there is a gain in capacity (1821 versus 2227 mAh): for a day of intensive usage (Internet, social networks), it is sufficient with confidence, leaving from 20 to 30 percent of the charge by the evening. The edges are not so sharp that they can cut themselves; this is a common misconception on the Internet. Another common misconception is that the paint on the side faces will quickly peel off; I made sure to pay close attention when purchasing exhibition samples from one of the official Apple sellers, and I did not observe this flaw on any of the samples that I purchased. They also mentioned that the glass was apparently very sensitive and was quickly scratched even with cautious handling; however, it's likely that I didn't have a single scratch after using it for a week if you carefully carry it in your pocket with keys. Face ID is extremely quick, detects faces almost instantly, and has an accuracy rate of approximately 99.5%. (sometimes it still asks for a password). It is sufficient to lower a mask such that it is below the level of the nose in order to recognize someone with certainty. I used to be opposed to Face ID, but now I have to admit that it makes the smartphone unlock much more quickly. Additionally, there is no longer a requirement to touch the device in order to read the notifications, which are now restricted to the owner's eyes only. I advise everyone, in general.
