I use this to measure the moisture content of honey. I tested it with calibration drops first and it was just under 65. I might not have needed to adjust it, but I did. The percentage is easy to read and the refractometer is easy to use. I was concerned that my honey was too wet and would spoil (ferment). I borrowed a tool a few weeks ago and the honey showed 20+%. So I poured it into a large metal bowl and put it in the oven with just the lights on for a couple of days. When this tool arrived I measured it just under 18%. So now I'm going to make another batch of honey. I will recommend this seller and this refractometer to every beekeeper I know. I wish I had found this many years ago!
