I've read other reviews and I don't need to worry about IT approving software for my computer so I wasn't concerned about that. I found and installed the software before purchasing the flashlight as suggested by the seller. The busy indicator works well but keeps dropping when the light is actually plugged in. When it crashes, the display turns purple and sometimes still leaves an icon on the Windows taskbar, making it appear like it's still running, making it difficult to work with. Spot problems when you can't see the purple light. (I put mine in front of the door to indicate when I don't want to be disturbed.) I use Teams and sometimes for no apparent reason the gauge turns red even when Teams is showing me green. This guy has a lot of potential, but it's not reliable enough to be used unattended. I even tried changing the colors only in manual mode, but the program still crashes regularly, leaving a light purple color.
