For $108 (including tax) I bought an impressive 16 inch shredder. When I unpacked the printer due to its small size, I thought my purchase would be a disappointment. I was wrong. CDs and credit cards can slow down the shredder. The Aurora AU1415XA 14-sheet cross-cut shredder is a real workhorse. It cuts silicone and plastic into small pieces in seconds with medium noise. Very efficient. When shredding paper, keep it at 8 sheets for quick results. Never leave the grinder running for more than 10 minutes. And use grease paper or oil to keep the blades sharp. To empty the chopper basket, switch it off and raise the chopper head. It's a little hard, go slow. Place the chopping head in the box. Take a plastic bag and place it on the basket, lift it up and pour the contents into the bag. Put the chopper head back on the chopper. Ready.
