I have a typical 40,000 Btu Charbroil propane grill, 4 burners that is 10,000 Btu per burner. This is not a dual fuel version, it is a regular propane grill. I cut and removed the propane regulator and connected the natural gas line directly to the rubber hose on the grill with a brass fitting. I pulled out the burners and removed the existing burner hole with a 9/32 socket and I used a #54 drill bit to open up the existing hole to allow more natural gas flow. I know my natural gas supply is 7 inches, most household gas meters give 7 inches of water pressure, so I needed a hole the size of a #54 drill bit to get 10,000 BTUs (10,863 to be exact) onto the burner. I'm pretty sure the existing hole was #62.038" so opening the hole to #54 (.055") went pretty quickly. A few seconds of my drill and the brass hole opened up. I reinstalled the holes in the burners which was a little tricky but now everything works great and easily reaches 500+ degrees.
