Review on 🔧 2-Inch Front and Rear Full Lift Kit Suspension Rise Mount Brackets - Compatible with UTV Polaris RZR 800 EFI Models by Erick Roby

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fits 2011 RZR 800 WE with wheel spacers

I chose this kit with Revain's excellent return policy and am saving $200 on a kit guaranteed to fit my 2011 RZR 800 Walker Evans shock. It stood up great with shorter plates in the front and larger ones in the back. The bottom pieces are angled to fit over the welds. The entire equipment corresponds to the 5th class. After everything was assembled I inspected it around the block and then measured the stroke. Both front and rear were missing just 2 inches from 16 with the same spring preload as before. I read that a full 2-inch rear lift causes CV joints to stick and shoes to bruise, and they were right. . The front was ok. I reduced the rear spring preload until I had just under 1.5 inches of travel at the rear end, which meant a softer ride and the CV joints and boots looked nice. We'll see if they wear out prematurely, but no clicks so far, so it's looking good. I'm going to Moab so I removed both anti-roll bars and that's where the problems started. Normal light riding isn't a problem, but once you start climbing rocks etc and the articulation gets a little more extreme, Walker Evans would slam the springs into contact with the wheels and squeak like crazy. I wanted a little more width anyway (lost 1/2" with the jack) so for $90 I added 1" wheel spacers to all four and removed them and all is good.

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • No automatic transmission
