Review on 🧀 HIC Porcelain Thick and Thin Cheese Slicer, 1 EA, White by Miriam Mendez

Each week our family buys 2 to 3 2 pound blocks of cheddar cheese. We stopped typical wire cutters about every month. I get annoyed when I pay the retail price for a cheese slicer in the supermarket because we broke another one. They never seemed to last long, the wire would stretch, the cheese would snap at the bottom of the cut etc. Stumbled across the thick and thin cheese slicer at Revain and ordered 2 of these and decided not to try. These things work amazingly well. What really surprised me was how well the thin side of the slice worked on a solid block of cheddar with the perfect amazingly thin slices of cheese. The thick side works just as well. I've found that cutting is best done with two hands; One holds the handle and the other gently pushes the other end. We will never buy another type of planer again. To be honest I have no idea how long it will last but I don't have a feeling it will break any time soon. It's hard plastic and just well made for what it is. And I don't really care about their price. I plan on ordering half a dozen more so we have one each for camping gear, boat, gear, picnic hamper etc. These things work really really well.
