Bolts on without a hardware kit (but only costs a few bucks more so extra parts never hurt). Make sure you choose the right orientation (one way works, the other binds and doesn't work for me). Has been working for several months now. My factory solenoid was 20 years old and had 450,000 on it so it had to be disassembled and cleaned. It worked great to get me through at the same time. For the price it's not a problem. Be sure to clean the connections in the wires going to the relay and maybe consider adding a bypass to connect the positive near the battery directly to the voltage on the relay. Also, I lubricated and cleaned the loop at the end of the solenoid where it goes over the pump pin because I didn't want to mess with things after the fact. Addendum: Purchased December 2017. It's April 2020 (oh the wonders of the Covid pandemic!) and my "El Chipo" solenoid in my 471,000 day driver is still working great. Haven't bothered to clean the old factory block yet, but so far so good. If the quality hasn't changed, they seem pretty reliable.
