The biggest annoyance with this appliance is the very small, difficult to use on/off and cooking timer buttons on the back. My medium-sized fingers can't get close enough to move these two switches, and even when I use a tool to move them, it's very difficult to turn them on or off. In addition, labels with settings are very difficult to read. The device must be inverted and tilted against the light until the reflection of the glare contrasts with the cast letters on the body before it can be read. Temperature settings are so simple for cheap graphics that it's actually a bit difficult. to achieve a different setting than the default click list. What I like is the braided metal cable from the device to the probe. Other digital thermometers are much easier to use, but the rubberized cable tends to fail after a few months. This cable is much stronger, I wouldn't buy it again. I will definitely not buy it for older people.
